Q. Do I have to take my purchases away on the day of the sale?

A. No, you can collect them between 9.00 am - 12.00 pm on the Sunday or 9.00 am - 5.00pm Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday after the day of the sale.

Q. Will you deliver items?

A. Yes - there is a small charge.

Q. If there's only one thing I'm interested in buying, do I have to stay all day and wait to bid for it?

A. No, you can get a time when that lot No. will be auctioned, or you can leave a commission bid.

Q. What is a commission bid?

A. A commission bid is where you provide us with details of the items you wish to bid for along with a maximum price and we will bid for you up to that price. This service is free for most items.

Q. Can I return a purchase if it doesn't work?

A. All electrical goods and other working items are sold at own risk unless stated in writing that the item is sold in working order (as with new items) in which case returns will be accepted until the Tuesday after the sale for replacement or refund if no replacement is available.

Q. Can I make a bid prior to the sale?

A. Yes you can put in a bid via email (see next question) or phone or in person during normal opening hours ( 9.00 am - 5.00 pm ) or up to 6.00 pm on the Friday before the sale.

Q. Can I bid by email?

A. Yes if you are already registered as a buyer and we hold credit card details.

Q. Do you do house clearances?

A. Yes - we will view free of charge.

Q. Can I put a reserve price on an item I want to sell?

A. Yes, you can specify the lowest bid you will accept, provided this is realistic

Q. What commission do you charge?

A. Normally 20% but this can vary according to items sold and is negotiable on larger items.
